My Goals:
I intend to maintain a healthy weight, to thrive doing exercise I love, and to have fun.

My Program:
I want to live a healthy life "full out." I am healthy, and consider it my job to protect that gift!

Personal Information:
I was born in the Pacific Northwest, but live in Virginia (Metro DC) now. I always have a foot in each place--I love them both. I love the water and being outdoors and so I try to be active there when I can. The gym is a good fall back though!

Other Information:
I am married, mother to a son, stepmom to a daughter and two sons. Grandmother to 5. Being active with my family is important--we are a movin' bunch.

Thanks for the bloglove on my What's Your Passion post. I'm glad you understand how being healthy is FUN not suffering. LOL people are so contrary.

I'm reminded of my Dad who looked at every change he had to make as his body aged as a door clanging shut - a piece of himself cut off forever. He had so many things, so much he could have added to his life that he refused to do, till in the end, death was the only thing he wanted. As I watched him, I vowed that I would embrace each change that aging brought to my life as the gift it was - not the punishment it need not have been.
