Sounds so much like my story! I thought about trying to do Weight Watchers again, but I had so much trouble getting back into the swing of it. I knew I needed to lose weight quickly too, and with my problems doing WW, I wasn't going to see much progress for a loooong time!
Once the weight started to come off, I found I could actually exercise and like it! Before, I'd pant and shuffle at the fitness center, but now I feel I can actually get a workout. I definitely think, depending on your weight, that it is better the way you and I did it - lose some weight THEN add on an exercise "program".
The other thing I found is that cooking isn't so bad - I can make yummy quick meals that are healthy!! My favorite is a small salad with tuna and some kale chips (I LOVE kale chips!).
Hip-hip-hurray for your friend getting you on TSFL and your success!! I think it's wonderful you made the plunge and smart that you are thinking about making changes for maintenance now, instead of at the end!! 1380 days ago
