Desperate to lose lots of weight!

I have lost and gained way too many pounds and am frustrated that I can't seem to lose weight. I have tried just about everything (OA, WW, nutritionists, cleanses) and a friend suggested Spark. I always lose weight but seem to gain it back and more. Over the past 3 years, I've lost 55 lbs, and have gained back 20. I am looking to stem the tide before I gain back all the weight, especially since I want to lose even more weight after the 55 lbs.

I'm a nature photographer and love to travel, and I just know that I'll be able to walk farther, get in and out of small vehicles and boats easier, etc. with my huge pack of photo equipment if I can lose weight--that's a big motivator for me.

I also am seeing that 50 isn't too far way away and I want to live a long time (I have so much more to do!) and I want to be able to do things as I get older--especially continue to travel to wild places.

My Goals:
Lose 81 pounds

To walk farther and travel, while carrying all my camera gear, without getting so tired and being in pain.

My Program:
Track my food everyday.

Eliminate (or nearly eliminate) high fructose corn syrup and regular corn syrup from my food.

get back to exercising 5 days a week.

Eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Massachusetts, and have lived in Colorado for 3 years now. I'm married with no kids.

I have a market research business and a new nature photography business. I love animals and have 3 cats--including a handicapped one. I'd like to get another one, but every cat we get brings my husband and I closer to 'that crazy couple with all the cats.' (especially since we don't have kids.)

Other Information:
Admittedly, sometimes it is hard to not have kids, when the world seems so geared towards families--any other 40 or 50 somethings with no kids out there?

Also, I recently started volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation place, which makes me smile every time I go there--any other animal lovers out there?

Thank you for your nice comment on my blog last week - it is much appreciated! I can't believe people read through such a long, rambling post - I wrote it in the middle of the night and doubted it would even make sense to me in the morning, let alone anyone else. Congrats on getting back on track after vacation!

Isn't it amazing that we often see our former selves in ways that are not always real? I've seen that in others but never really looked at it for myself...this journey is one that always takes me places i never dreamed, and always in a good way!
Welcome to SP and wishing you the best on your journey!
