I am starting out at 185. I've been working out for 40 minutes everyday (20 eliptical, 20 tae-bo and crunches) for the past 3 weeks. I'm not seeing much difference on the scale, but some in my clothes. Because of a pancreas problem, I am VERY limited as to what I can eat right now. I have a lot of pineapples, green beans, and bananas. They're all really good for me, but I'm having a hard time getting my calorie intake up on such a limited diet. I'm not seeing much difference on the scale, but some in my clothes. Because of a pancreas problem, I am VERY limited as to what I can eat right now. I have a lot of pineapples, green beans, and bananas. They're all really good for me, but I'm having a hard time getting my calorie intake up on such a limited diet. I'm beginning to think my body is in starvation mode or something. Take today for instance....after breakfast, lunch, 2 snacks, and dinner, I'm still only at 617 calories for the day. My nutrition report says I need 1260-1610. Does anyone know if my problem is the lack of calories? Please help. I'd really like to see it on the scales for a change.

My Goals:
To lose 25 to 30 lbs, get healthy for the first time in years, and get off of BP meds.

My Program:
I work out for about 20 minutes each day on the elliptical, then do crunches, then about 15 minutes of Tae-bo. Watching what I eat.

Personal Information:
I am a 37 yr old married mom of 2 boys. I tend to eat when I'm bored or depressed. I lost my Dad back in August so I've been dealing with a lot of depression lately.

Other Information:
I'm just a country girl who loves being a Mom and I want to make sure I'm still around to see my boys grown up with children of their own.
