Hey! My name is Sara and I'm a freshman at a small college in Connecticut. I have never been overweight, and i have normally been in the middle of my bmi range, but i am far from healthy. After all, the skinniest of people can be much more unhealthy than the obese. I'm on a mission to not be like this. I want to not only look healthy, but be healthy.

This is my journey through eating college meals and bettering myself.

My Goals:
- Weigh 125 by April 2014

- Run a 5k by April 2014

- Eat completely clean by April 2014

- Eat 2-3 servings of vegetables at least 5 days of the week.

- Go running at least twice a week.

- Workout for thirty minutes at least 6 days a week.

My Program:
I incorporate blogilates, tone it up, and fitnessblender workouts into my weekly routine. I also aim to go running twice a week.

I try to eat as healthy as i can.

Personal Information:
I attend Central Connecticut State University.

I am a freshman.

I am majoring in biology.

I want to become a pediatric emergency room physician.

I have a pacemaker. I received it when i was four and diagnosed with atrial tachycardia.

Other Information:
I am a complete hopeless romantic. I love nicholas sparks and jodi piccoult books. I love watching romance movies, and i even find myself watching engagement stories on youtube all the time

Thanks for the thoughtful comments on my blog! Wouldn't it be great if the stress could just eat the fat! But it was really good to be able to work some of it out through exercise. I hope you are quite proud of yourself for doing all that you are doing! Way to go! emoticon emoticon

Hi Sara,
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I did finally apply pressure to the wound after I saw the band-aid wasn't doing the job. I'm always afraid when I have accidents like these that I'll have to go to the E.R. for stitches--something to avoid at all costs! But you. as a biology/health care person, had good advice--I'll remember it the next time I screw up in the kitchen!
