A 100 tiny changes for my mind and body
I want to be proud of how I look and live again. Over the years there have been times that I was on top of my health and fitness and then times I've slacked and just lost my concentration. Lots of life-changing events (like marriage, divorce, having a baby, remarriage with step-children added, surgeries, hormone changes, etc.) have affected my attitudes and actions regarding eating and fitness. I need to figure out how to live and eat better within a larger group of people that have really ...
I want to be proud of how I look and live again. Over the years there have been times that I was on top of my health and fitness and then times I've slacked and just lost my concentration. Lots of life-changing events (like marriage, divorce, having a baby, remarriage with step-children added, surgeries, hormone changes, etc.) have affected my attitudes and actions regarding eating and fitness. I need to figure out how to live and eat better within a larger group of people that have really different eating habits (teenage athletes!). I also need help dealing with leftovers and avoiding waste. My family hates leftovers and I find that I overeat because I hate to waste food. I'll eat the leftovers at lunch the next day but my portions are too big. I need ideas from like-minded parents!!!

My Goals:
I want to figure out portion control again! I want to WANT to exercise!
My Program:
Follow the SparkPeople menu plan and fitness program as closely as possible because I need to retrain my mind on portion size and vegetable intake. I don't want to have to think about menu planning so hard!
Personal Information:
I'm married with three kids (one is mine, 2 are his) and we live in Austin, Texas. All the people in my family are really athletic and I'm not able to keep up right now! I want to be a better example to my daughter and I want to be fit enough to keep having adventures with my husband.
