When I started my transformation, I noticed how badly really fat people are treated sometimes...especially at the gym. So I had to develop this attitude that, "Hey! I'm fat and I need to be here. I don't care what you think about me! I'm this gym's Token Fat Guy!"
Wearing my custom made Token Fat Guy shirt, with my starting weight on the back in a HUGE FONT so people on the row of treadmills behind me can read it, I push myself just a little harder each week. And each week I ...

NOTE: Now that I've lost a large amount of weight, I'm getting lots of people telling me that I need to change my name from TokenFatGuy. But since I still am in a position of trying to help people with their transformations, I will keep the name for now. Plus, I own www.TokenFatGuy.com and changing the domain name would just be a big hassle.
Want to find out how I did it? Read my blogs. Everytime I learn something new, I write about it. Everytime I make a change to my diet and/or workout...I write about it. Every Monday, like clockwork, I update my blog with new information.
**NEW BEGINING** I had something happen in my life that really messed me up in the head. Because of it, I couldn't maintain focus or even maintain my weight. After a year of feeling sorry for myself I decided enough was enough. So I'm back to lose it all over again.
A note to anyone that reads this and thinks, "oh if I lost all my weight, I'd NEVER put it back on again"....it happens much easier than you'd think. Maintaining focus is everything. I learned the hard way.
My Goals:
My overall weight goal is to get down to 180...then I'll figure out what I want to do next. I started out at 292 pounds.
However, I did once get down to 199. But I messed it up and shot up to 307. Now I'm back to do it all over again.
My Program:
I do weight lifting 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week. Sometimes I take an hour long walk in the afternoons just to jump start my metabolism after hours of sitting at my computer.
Personal Information:
Originally from Niles, MI...I've moved to Charlotte, NC where I laugh at the people that just can't drive when there is snow.
I'm back on Spark after a few "bungee" episodes. Was just thinking about you - used to enjoy your blog and zombies and stuff. Hang on in there and good luck. You can do it! (what a shame ... no zombie emoticons)
Yeah... I've not messed with that yet, just read newer ones... I bet there's a few database admins that would like to shoot me now with the space my mailbox is taking up ;)
Thanks....I did get a surprise this morning from the scale. BIG WEEK...dropped 4 pounds for a total of 22. I guess that how to do this is all coming back to me.
