One of my favorite pictures from our wedding reception. Our life is so funny!

After a badminton game in Beijing

I have 10 pics in my gallery

Caught the half marathon bug

Although my first half marathon didn't quite go as planned, it was exhilarating and I want to keep running them.

My Goals:
1. Reach a healthy weight, which for me is about 118.

2. Feel strong and healthy. My muscles always feel better when they really get a workout!

3. Have more energy.

4. Run a half marathon. Eventually, I want to run a full marathon.

My Program:
I lift weights Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and run/walk everyday. We also just got a stationary bicycle, so I plan to cycle at least 3 miles a day, in addition to whatever I've already done that day. I love the way being active makes me feel!

I also do yoga at least once a week.

I'm a sugar-free vegan, so I don''t eat sweets, meats, or other nasty treats.

sugar-free vegan. goshhhhhh, i wish i had that kind of willpower. so far i've been able to cut out all dairy, meat, caffeine, alcohol and even chocolate (allergy reasons) but i can NOT give up sweets. i will do almost anything (almost) for cookies. how do you resist?

oh! and your pic of your bike in beijing brought back so many warm memories of my year in japan. that was my ride! the granny bicycles with the hip basket and ever-so awesome bell! did you live there or were you only visiting?

Congrats on running your first Marathon!
My first Marathon didn't go as I'd planned either but it was an unforgettable experinence nevertheless. Stick with it and they'll get better. Don't you just love running skirts? I can't imagine ever running in shorts again. You look great and congrats again on your Marathon achievement!
