I LIVE IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AND I LOVE TO TRAVEL. I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT AND GET HEALTHIER SO I FEEL BETTER AND CAN TRAVEL EVEN MORE! I AM DOWN 100 POUNDS FROM MY HEAVIEST WEIGHT AND ABOUT 85 POUNDS FROM MY GOAL. I WANT TO BE UNDER 300 POUNDS BY MY BIRTHDAY ON MAY 31. I AM GOING ON A CRUISE OVER CHRISTMAS BREAK IN THE CARIBBEAN AND MIGHT DO ANOTHER CRUISE IN MARCH. I AM THINKING ABOUT SOUTHERN AFRICA THIS SUMMER.

My Goals:
I would like to lose one to two pounds a week over the next two years. I am trying to get exercise in at least three times a week. I am trying to stay under 2000 calories a day. I am exercising at least six times a week. Also, I am incorporating more vegetables into my diet. Finally, I will drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

My Program:
I make sure I always log my calories in, no matter what I have eaten that day. I joined the Y and am taking zumba, cardio kick, strength training, and water aerobics. I am going to try a spinning class. I also use the treadmill, stationary bike, and my own bicycle often. At home I love doing the "Walk Away the Pounds" dvd's.

Personal Information:
My name is Todd. I am a single, school teacher from St. Louis, Missouri. I have been battling my weight my entire life and I have taken many trips up and down the scales. I am trying to take my weight off slowly and I hope that it will stay off this time. I am an avid traveller and I have been to every state in the United States and over 50 plus countries in the world.

Other Information:
I am a bit of a comic book geek. I love movies, reading, hanging out with my friends, travelling, dining out, and teaching.

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog! You're right - I've been reading a lot of "blah" blogs lately! It must be that February slump - but we're all still doing, and I think that says a lot!

You're absolutely right that the key is to keep moving forward. I'm making better food choices and getting 10K steps per day. I think I'm going to focus on that and stop worrying about the scale for a bit.
