I have come a long way over the past year . My journey has taught me to love myself as I am. I know the changes that have occured over the past year have not only been on the outside but also on the inside.

I love eating healthy and exercising everyday. The two combination's give me such an emotional high and stress release, playing a vital part in my daily choices. I know that thanks to Sparks I have found my love of kickboxing and a reason to exercise.

I know on my 50th Birthday I felt awesome! I have come to accept the slower pace of my own weight loss and know that I may not be where I had hoped to have been, but where my body wants me to be.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose the extra pounds that I have put back on over the past 4 years so I can feel healthy and keep up with my Grandkids.

My new goals for 2015 is to take a canoe trip with my husband and to enter and complete in another 5K.


My Program:
I am eating healthy and journaling all the foods I consume in the day. I use the sparks program to determine how many calories are in the food I am going to eat and preplan each day the night before.I work out 6 -7 days per week doing Cardio and free weights. I allow flexibility in my program as long I am meeting my goals.



Personal Information:
I live in Grove City, PA with my husband and two dogs. I have 10 grandchildren who are the pride of my life. I work as a Call Center Manager. My husband and I own a cottage on French Creek in Cochranton PA where we spend most weekends, canoeing, paddle boating, fishing and relaxing.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Winter challenge will be getting started the beginning of December. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meat your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Fall we had a World Series and a Haunted House. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Winter challenge.
