One Hot Mama!
Hi, and welcome to my page! I'm currently updating since I've been on Babyfit for a while and am now coming back to try and safely gain some muscle and stamina back while maintaining breastfeeding. I'm trying to keep my focus away from weight loss and more toward functional fitness.

My Goals:
My eventual goal weight is 185, which I think is what healthy will be for someone of my height and build, but we'll see when I'm closer. Overall, I just want to be able to keep up with my son, and get fit for maybe trying for another kiddo when Hubby gets out of the Army (hopefully by the end of the year!)
My Program:
My program really just consists of limiting snacking right now. On the weekends, especially when kiddo's napping, I sit with my Nook and eat and eat and eat. That just needs to stop. As for fitness, I really want to actually start using my YMCA membership. I'm going to try and shift my work schedule around getting T into mom and me swim lessons, and I would really love to find time for a yoga class without taking a lot of time from him.
Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Nebraska, spent 5 years in Oklahoma (thank you US Army), and moved back home with my dad when my husband and I separated. After a year, hubby and I are doing 100% better, and he'll be out and back home soon.
Other Information:
I love to read anything and everything. I enjoyed the HP series while it lasted but I pretend the Epilogue doesn't exist. I also LOVE Anne Bishop, Madeline L'Engle, and Clare B. Dunkle. I was surprised that I really enjoyed the Hunger Games series, but really can't get my head around Twilight... My favorite classics are The Scarlet Letter and Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo. I like Aldous Huxley's Brave New World also. As for music, my tastes have always been pretty eclectic, but I love Queen, My Chemical Romance's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, Beethoven, Bach (the work he DIDN'T get paid for), Tchaikovsky, Colbie Caillat, Elvis Presley, Big and Rich, Frank Sinatra, Keith Urban and so many others. There's always something stuck in my head :)
