I still remember being thin for the first 24 years of my life -- I never really had a weight problem until after being pregnant for 2 years in a row. Had the twins June 1986 followed by my 4th son July 1987. I did manage to drop some of the weight and maintain a weight of 180-190 then got pregnant for my daughter and had been over 200 for 17 years.

My Goals:
I would like to be a healthier, more active person with lots of ambition and no aches & pain. With the additional ambition, I would like to get my home better organized. So much stuff to take care of and things to do. Once more organized, I hope to have more time to spend with my family and friends just visiting and enjoying their company.

My Program:
I try to keep a constant awsareness of 'the right' things to do... in regards to eating habits, exercise, and staying on line with SP. Try to track food daily. Be happy with myself. Usually have 4 really good days/week and 3 fair days/week

Personal Information:
My name is Kim; have been married for 27 years; have 5 children age ranges 30, 26, 26, 25, 20. And 3 grandchildren; Caleb 5 and Isabelle 4 and Evy 2

Other Information:
I've worked at the same company for 33+ years, love to cook, bake, and hang out at the lake. Will enjoy the lake better when I get back in shape. I joined spark people 4+ years ago and while I was faithful it was working for me...then I went astray for a couple years. I'm back and am utilizing the tools again

Hi Kim,

I was reading your story and found myself insired to do more.. I have always been overweight up and down yo yo yo diets. I am originally from upstate NY and my huge Italian family never let me waste food.LOL Anyway now I'm 36 almost 210 pounds and I see you lost a lot of weight over a few years. I hope to have that success one day! I am trying but everyday is a struggle....thanks for sharing your journey so that others like myself can be inspired to do more..

Hello and Welcome to Sparks. Your in the right place. You will learn so much with the info here and meet others willing to give you support and encouragement. Don't let this place overwhelm you. We all had to ask questions when we first started so ask if you need help. I have been here 15 months and find it very useful. Find a team that will meet your needs and make sure to post everyday. That will help you stay accountable. I hope your journey here will be a blessing to you.
