Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
I still remember being thin for the first 24 years of my life -- I never really had a weight problem until after being pregnant for 2 years in a row. Had the twins June 1986 followed by my 4th son July 1987. I did manage to drop some of the weight and maintain a weight of 180-190 then got pregnant for my daughter and had been over 200 for 17 years.
I would like to be a healthier, more active person with lots of ambition and no aches & pain. With the additional ambition, I would like to get my home better organized. So much stuff to take care of and things to do. Once more organized, I hope to have more time to spend with my family and friends just visiting and enjoying their company.
I try to keep a constant awsareness of 'the right' things to do... in regards to eating habits, exercise, and staying on line with SP. Try to track food daily. Be happy with myself. Usually have 4 really good days/week and 3 fair days/week
My name is Kim; have been married for 30 years; have 5 children age ranges 34, 29, 29, 28, 23. And 3 grandchildren; Caleb 9 and Isabelle 7 and Evy 5
I've worked at the same company for 36+ years, love to cook, bake, and hang out at the lake. Will enjoy the lake better when I get back in shape. I joined spark people 6+ years ago and while I was faithful it was working for me...then I went astray for 4 years. I know it WORKs if you work it

I'm so glad you found your way back to spark. I also went astray in 2012 and gained roughly 30 lbs. I started losing again, lost about 12 pounds then discovered running and that life without tracking food was just not feasible for me. When I don't track I kinda mentally tell myself as long as I am working out I can have some pizza or go to Cheddar's and eat whatever. Now I am back to just 1-2 indulgences a week and even some of those are involving salad.
The running, however makes it a little trickier. I've heard people gain, but I lost 18 lbs from the time I started the c25k program til I reached my goal. I trained for a half marathon which I completed in November, oh my gosh what a high!! I told everybody that I saw about it for weeks. I am actually training for another half that is in April. I'm really excited for it, but this cold weather is driving me nuts!!!!
I know you can reach your goals too, just take it one day at a time and be patient, I actually stalled for 2 months this year, it was aggravating, but I stuck to my guns! Keep in touch, I'm here every day and if you need me just yell!

Got your message, I am still here but haven't been on spark page for awhile. Husband ill, now better, and finished his rehab. We have been dealing with surgeries and rehab for a year and a half. Then he got sick and after he was better I got down. We are both back in the good health catagory. I still am trying to lose weight, I feel like I am at the starting line again.
7/24 - I have a sister also born on the same day, we are 10 yrs. apart.

Hi! Congrats on the weight loss so far, and thank you so much for the nice compliment about my video blog. Joining a team really does help so much, especially when you really take time to say hello and get to know your teammates. Also, it feels good to join the team goals and see your group accomplishments. Take care!
