I had gotten my life together, but illness made me stop. I would like to get healthier. I've been short and fat since I hit puberty, so I don't really want to be skinny. Mostly I am interested in improving my health. I am an avid foodie and a wine snob, which doesn't help. I also have always celebrated everything with going out to eat. I am starting to learn how to manage portions both at home and in restaurants.

I have decided to update my plans. Originally I just wanted to loose a few pounds and get healthier in the short term. I am now changing that to a long term commitment. I was going to wait until the end of the month, but I decided that I was just procrastinating again. My total goal is to get down to 140 by next June. Interim goals include: 185 by the end of this month, 174 by the end of September, 165 by Christmas, and 140 by the end of next June. I was afraid if I made any long term goals I would get bored and quit, or feel intimidated and give up. Or possibly I will give up on goal weights and just stay on my 1300-1600 calorie diet forever.
With occasional cheat days, of course :)

My Program:
I am mostly trying to just do a reduced calorie diet and exercise. I believe in the old fashioned more calories out than in.
