Here we go again

So what do you do when your overweight, your husband just left you and your daughter, and you just aren't sure if there will be enough money to make ends meet. I decided that instead of letting my life fall apart that I would finally redirect all that energy I was putting into trying to make my husbands life easier (and in my flawed theory, happier) into doing something positive for myself.

I want to get my mountain bike that got moth balled when I got pregnant and start riding ...
So what do you do when your overweight, your husband just left you and your daughter, and you just aren't sure if there will be enough money to make ends meet. I decided that instead of letting my life fall apart that I would finally redirect all that energy I was putting into trying to make my husbands life easier (and in my flawed theory, happier) into doing something positive for myself.

I want to get my mountain bike that got moth balled when I got pregnant and start riding again. It was my passion at one time and I let it go to be wife and mother. Bad Idea. I just forgot to make time for me and I lost who I was before I got married.

So I'll start with what I can do. Take care of my daughter and myself. Plan good healthy meals, pack my lunches, cut down on the wine, mtn bike on the weekends my dd is with her dad, take my dd hiking and camping,. Doing all those things that we were to "busy" to do before.

I want my daughter to see that the blows life sends you might knock you off your feet but you can get right back up. That we are strong enough to not only get through but thrive because of the challenges we face. The challenges make us wiser and stronger, better.

I've lost one love and am working on finding the love of self I left behind at some point over that last few years.

Improve my endurance.

To lose 63 pounds.
To complete a sprint level triathlon before my next birthday.
To get into shape enough to once again enjoy mountain biking.

My Program:
Starting Sparkspeople to track daily calorie intake and workouts.

To complete a 50 minute Firm workout at least 3 days a week.

Start riding my bike again.
