Hey! Thanks so much for the blog comment. I was surprised by my results too. I'm not sure why yours aren't coming along as well, but I can share what's worked for me. Also, I wasn't as challenged by the Push month, mostly because I didn't have heavy enough weights. I only have 5, 8 and 15 lbs. The 15s are not heavy enough for all the lower body and some of the upper body. I just can't afford Powerblocks or a whole dumbell set. Boo! :-)
Here's what I did: I did stick to the workout schedule 100%. I wasn't working then, so I was able to do that easily. I have no idea how I did that, but I did!
I didn't follow any plan prescribed by the Chalean Extreme program for eating. What I do is six meals of 250 cals each. I try to get at least 10 g protein on each, but usually a lot more. I have a protein powder smoothie about once a day, and a lot of lean meats, eggs, tuna, etc. Lots of fruit and veg too, water as well.
I have a big problem with binge eating with sweets, and I did succumb to that a lot. I still, however, have had pretty steady progress throughout. When I started I was nursing my son still a little, but I am almost done with that now. That may have affected weight loss a little bit.
What do you think? Are you doing similar things? Can you pinpoint any things that might not be working? Do you have heavy enough weights? I know I don't but I've still been getting pretty good results. Would love to hear back from you. Liss 1977 days ago
I am a custodial aunt to two little girls. I believe the youngest has RAD, and have been told that she has 5 visual markers of FAS. It's a challenge with her. I friended you. It seems we have a lot in common!!
