I am so tired of losing the same 10, 15, or 20 pounds over and over again. I'd really like to get this weight off and keep it off.

Well, my goal was to lose 25 pounds by my birthday on October 19th. I was sooooooo close. I lost 24 pounds, with only one pound left to go. But, I am thrilled to have made it so close and know that I will lose the other pound.

Of course, now that I'm almost to that 25 pound goal, I know that I would like to lose at least 10 more pounds! (We're just never satisfied!) So when I actually reach the 25 pounds, I'm going to reset my goal.

I'm feeling a lot better about myself and am really starting to enjoy exercising. I know that in order to keep this weight off, exercise will have to be a part of my daily routine.

WooHoo! I made it! It took me 14 weeks, but today I was 1/2 pound under my original 25 pound weight loss goal! I've reset my goal to lose another 10 pounds. So, here we go again. Hopefully, I've broken through the plateau that I've been stuck at for the last few weeks and it won't take so long to lose the next 10 pounds!!!!

Getting back on track! Boy, the holidays really derailed me. I gained 5 pounds back; but the worst part has been trying to get back in the swing of things. I've been trying to ease into it and that isn't working out too well. So, I'm committing to getting into the full swing of things tomorrow. That means counting every calorie, drinking 8 glasses of water, and yes, even exercising. As crazy as it sounds and as much as I've fought getting back on track, I'm actually excited about this! WooHoo!

My Goals:
My original goal was to lose 25 pounds by my birthday on October 19th.

That day came and I was one pound short of my goal. Just a few more days, that's all I needed.

I finally met that goal and reset my goal to lose another 10 pounds!

My Program:
I am counting calories and trying to make sure I get my 8 glasses of water in every day. I didn't start out exercising very much. But, the girls on our office team have changed that with their little daily exercise challenges. I've also started using the Walk Away The Pounds DVDS and am quickly building a library of those. They are all great and I try to walk at least 3 miles each day.

Personal Information:
I live in Florida. I have been married for over 25 years and we have two sons, 21 and 16.

I have tried many different ways in the past to lose weight. I'll lose it and it comes back. I know it is because after I lose the weight I completely forget watching what I eat. I have to change the way I eat.

I am for the most part only eating things that are pre-packaged so I can jump start my weight loss. That way I know exactly how many calories without having to guess.

Kevin and I went out to eat last night to celebrate our 28th anniversary. I knew we would be going to Applebees so I looked ahead of time to see what I would be able to eat. I decided on the Steak & Portobellos. It's one of their weight watcher meals. It was only 330 calories. Of course when they brought it to me I looked at it and asked Kevin, "Where's the Beef?" emoticon (Ha!) It was only a 4 oz. steak. Just goes to show how much more my serving size has been for many, many years.

Yes, I know. I think I am obsessed with weighing. I have been doing it every morning for a long long time.

And I know it's hard to show a weight gain when we are trying to lose. It's probably just water weight. Maybe you ate something salty yesterday?

I am really motivated right now to get the weight off, as I have gained quite a bit since Joshua left, and I don't want him to be horrified when he gets home. LOL But if I keep this up, I can probably get reallly close to my goal before he gets back, that would be awesome!

Have a great day today! Stay warm, it's freezing out there!

YEAH! That's awesome! You are getting so close to your goal!

I am back up a half pound. :( I have been staying within my calorie range, but haven't been making the best choices of what to eat. So I am going to be working on that.
