One by one the pounds WILL disapear!

I chose pink as my webpage color because I am very active in the breast cancer community. Women in the past 4 generations on my Mom's side of the family have done battle with breast cancer. I want to see a cure in my lifetime! For the past 5 years I have participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, walking 39.3 miles in 2 days, in cities all across our country! I am a "multi city walker" !

I am excited about joining Spark People and using the tools to track my progress! ...

Hi there! How are you doing? This really sucks to say but I don't think I am going to do the walk anymore. I really want to and already have money on my avon page, but not sure it is gonna happen. We had somebody brake into our truck the other night while in our driveway and last year someone stole our 4-wheeler from our house. After the truck break in I just don't feel safe there anymore and I think we are going to put our house up on the market. So the next couple months are going to be hectic with getting the house in good condition again and possibly selling it and moving. Plus with the wedding this year, I think the stress of it all (meaning raising money for the walk plus all that other stuff) I don't think I can do it. Plus I am not sure I will be able to put enough time into my training for the walk. Like I said this situation really sucks. And the day before the break in my friend and I were planning on putting together a bowlathon to raise money for the walk. So if we decide not to do it I wish yall well on that walk. I also have about 80 bracelets I had bought from www.fundraisingforacause.com that are all different breast cancer bracelets. If you know anybody that would be interested in buying them for what I bought them for please let me know. Talk to you soon!

You are doing so good with raising the money for the Houston walk. I only have about $800 so far. What do you do to raise the money for all your walks?

Hi! Yeah, I did already sign up for the walk. Whenever my walked buddy contacts me I will have them add me to the team again. My friend is going to sign up at the end of the month. I bought a bunch of bracelets from the fundraisingforacure website that I have been selling. They have bee selling pretty good. We are going to set up some tables at walmarts and sell them. Talk to ya soon:)

Hey, how have you been? I was thinking about doing the Avon walk again. Houston in April. I think my friend is going to do it with me. The only reason I am still debating is because of having to raise $3,600 between the two of us. .
