I'm TLORB - just some initials, there's no hidden meaning :)

I wasn't inspired to make my SparkPage until I nearly reached my weight loss goal. But getting to that goal was only half the journey, and I plan on using SparkPeople to help keep me healthy and fit. Good luck to everyone!

My Goals:
To reach my goal weight of 130 pounds.

To maintain weekly exercise, including cardio and strength training.

To continue to select the healthiest food options available to me.

To get at least 8 hours of sleep each night (this is the hardest goal for me to reach!)

My Program:
I eat within my SparkPeople calorie range each day, but on top of that I try to use whole grains, lean proteins, veggies, fruit and healthy fats to meet those calorie goals.

I also use The Firm three days per week (it's an awesome workout!) and on alternating days I use my elliptical machine, run outdoors or go for a long walk. I always give myself at least 1 or 2 rest days per week - rest is important!

Thanks for the kind words on my blog. If you want to push your distance get some advice from someone you know who is farther along than you are. Those helpful tips can make a big difference.

Once again thanks for commenting on my blog, sort of a strange day yesterday. Today shouldn't be so bad. I noticed your goal is what mine is, to be around 130 only I am right at 164 starting out at 204 in mid Oct.'10 but site started me in early Nov.'10 and I had lost a couple of pounds by then.
