Thanks for the message. I know exactly what you mean. While I still crave the junky food and have outside influences trying to draw me to it I've found that I don't find it as tasting as it once was. I still enjoy the occasional gorge fest but it's nothing like it once was. I'm also mad at myself for not catching it early and letting myself go the way I did.
You're off to a good start, keep it up! See ya around at the Guys lounge. Take care! 3448 days ago
Thank you for the kind words. I haven't really done a diet. I'm just trying to make a lifestyle change and eat appropriately. Really tracking my calories. Had my Resting Metabolic Rate calculated to determine how calories my body burns each day. With a moderate level of exercise (about 45 minutes a day) I'm burning almost 3000 calories. I'm trying to stay between 1800-2000 per day intake. So that's a deficit of 1000 a day. On average I'm been losing about 2 lbs per week. But it's getting much harder to keep that pace up. The first 50 were easy. The next 50 is going to be more of a challenge. Good luck in making your November goal. 3451 days ago
I am also a classic dieter. This time I am dealing with it as a life style change (hoping it will stick). I suggest weight training as well as dieting. There is a good team to join if you are interested it is called “I want to GAIN muscle!” The leader really knows what he is talking about. In any case, good luck my friend 3476 days ago
