My Goals:
I am near my weight goal and so am looking for other things to push for. I want to build my endurance, flexibility and to tone up. One of my biggest goals has been to do a split. I have been trying for two years with out much success. I just found a program that is six weeks long to a split. I am hoping it will build the flexibility and strength I need to reach this goal.
My Program:
I am following my program and stretching at least one day a week, normally am and pm (for 30 to 60 mins). I am doing dynamic stretches first to warm up and gain strength. (UPDATE 3/3/13) I am just ending week 3 of my split program and I am really excited with the progress. I am a little more than a foot off the ground. The program says week four is the hardest because you stop seeing rapid progress and there is not much to distract your mind or encourage you. I worry that I wont have the grit to cont but am taking steps to motivate myself. I am putting up pictures, talking about how great it will be when accomplished, researching other stretches for the split online, and even planning my next goal. I am not the type to stop when the going gets tough so I think I will be ok. I am planning for success. Toughest week the the program: Here I come!!!!! I am also walking each morning anywhere from an hr to 90mins plus Tae Kwon Do class or tutoring 3 days a week.
