Hi there! I don't really know what to say in this "introduction text"....I found this site when looking for resistance band exercises and I noticed you could join for free which is amazing.

I'm laid back and just enjoy life, which is why I want to lose weight so I can enjoy it even better than I already do. I have such an amazing life I want to be around to enjoy it.

Hi there! I don't really know what to say in this "introduction text"....I found this site when looking for resistance band exercises and I noticed you could join for free which is amazing.

I'm laid back and just enjoy life, which is why I want to lose weight so I can enjoy it even better than I already do. I have such an amazing life I want to be around to enjoy it.

Right now my major concerns are about nutrition. I was surprized to find out what they put in processed foods! I used to be a processed food junkie, but after seeing all the horrible things they put in them I am no longer a follower of the food. Since I'm a college student I still have to eat processed foods because they're so cheap, but I'm really trying to cut down on them.

I also gave up soda for Lent this year and I'm seriously considering not drinking soda again. Maybe every now and then, but after all the things I learned they put in there, I'm tempted to not drink them, especially diet sodas! This is huge for me especially considering I used to tell everyone to just buy me a pack of soda for my birthdays...haha.

Besides all that, I'm your typical University student. I sleep late [when I can] and stay up until the sunrises. I'm a horrible insomniac, yet I have 8am classes. What can I say? I like to be sleep deprived...haha. I'm very active in my university, I'm in a lot of organizations and I'm a freshman orientation camp counselor!

I'm very high energy yet extremely easy going. The paradoxes of being ADHD I guess. I'm sarcastic, but in a friendly way and I love new experiences.

My Goals:
My main goal is to be healthy, I believe health affects every part of your being including your mental state. I used to be on the opposite side of the spectrum thinking that what I ate and my activity level had nothing to do with how I felt, I now know a lot better and I am changing my life for the overhaul.

My Program:
Currently I'm just working out as much as I can and eating as healthy as I can, there really isn't a set program.

I had a feeling you were gonna say that there weren't options like that where you are. Before moving to the DC metro area, I lived in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area, which isn't too "metro", but it's growing. They had very few vegetarian choices, and almost no vegan choices. And because it's so far inland, not a lot of organic food got shipped in (even though we're in the frickin grain belt, we don't get a lot of organic foods there!). So I understand what it's like. Keep pushing for it at your school, and if you can find even a small organic section at a local store, stick to it and buy what's on sale, even if it's only a few items a week. It's that much less bad stuff you're putting into your body :]

WOW this weekend, was really boring really, since I stop drinking, because I didn't want the temptation of hangover food!! So I was working this weekend, and Just at the gym our out walking. But it was ok tough..
How is your weigh thing going?
