Non scale victories are something to be proud of. Mine? I cinched my belt another notch this week. I'm eating baked oatmeal with scrambled eggs for breakfast for a high protein/fiber kick. I've started a stretching routine and I'm feeling better. EVERY thing you do that goes towards your goal is something to be proud of.

I've grown lazy in my weight loss journey lately. I don't know why I'm craving sweets when it's usually chips I crave. Being a baker doesn't help but I'm a good girl when it come to taste testing.

Because I'm not so limber anymore and have knee and lower back issues I've slacked big time on workouts. I'm slowly incorporating them back into my day. I started yoga this afternoon and already feel a little relief in my back.

I've got to get a handle on eating a whole lot cleaner than I am. I know what to do and how to do it and why I don't is inexcusable. I tell myself daily that each day is a clean slate, which it is, but I think I'm using that excuse way too often. So, here it goes. I can do this. I WILL do this!

My Goals:
1) TRACK ALL Food and drink DAILY.
2) Track my Sodium, Protein and Fiber DAILY.
3) 8-12 waters DAILY.
4) MEASURE portions DAILY.

Most important NO EXCUSES!!!


My Program:
1)Eat LESS processed foods.
2)Cut way back and avoid Simple Carbs.
3) Choose COMPLEX CARBS
4) No eating after 8 pm


I fit exercises in EVERYWHERE! From pumping gas to standing in line at the checkout...even at work ( I sit at a desk all day)

I live in central Missouri. I'm adjusting to living at home instead of in a big truck which I called home for almost 9 years.

I'm married, have 2 grown kids, 5 grandkids.
Hobbies: ST, reading, cooking and baking, outdoors work, fishing, etc

REMEMBER: Put to MYSELF FIRST! I'm no good to anyone else if I don't take care of myself first.
