Well, time for a new introduction! I am a 28 year old mother to a wonderful almost 4 year old boy. I have had issues with depression and was on medication for 10 months. I gained 25 pounds and switched meds. Then as I started exercising, I tapered off the meds and now am anti-depressant free. It is still a struggle everyday with anxiety, irritability, depression, constant crying, etc...but it is not as bad as it used to be and I am able to notice when a "mood" is coming on and can find a way to release it without having an "episode." I never realized how much working out would relieve stress.

I am also engaged and buying a house!!!! So much is going on right now. Our wedding date is set for October 10th, 2009. Let's see if I can drop a few pounds.

I am a Team Leader for Mommy to Wowwy Boot Camp. I hope that I can motivate these ladies and that we can be a real support system to each other.

For every pound I lose I will have a hot fudge sundae....or at least dream about it. Ice cream is a great source of calcium!!! And with the nuts, you are talking about a very nutritional snack!!!

My Goals:
My goals for the new year are to run a 5k and learn how to more effectively deal with my anxiety. Also, low-fat ice cream recipes!


My Program:
My program consists of seeing my personal trainer put me through hell once a week and then following her routine 3-4 times a week. Running twice a week and other cardio 2-3 times a week. I am logging my food intake everyday and tracking my calorie deficit.

I also think that massages are not indulgences but NECESSITIES!!!
