A couple of quick getting started things: The food and exercise trackers are GODSENDS. Do you have an iPhone or an android phone? If you do then you can use the trackers right on your phone! It will set you up with a goal range of calories to be in and a goal amount of cardio/strength/whatever to get you to your goal!
Blogging is soooo helpful to. Writing down what you're thinking and feeling about the whole process has really helped me. You can always go to the "blogs" section under the community tab to see other peoples blogs to!
