Now you know a sistah held it in for the pic, LOL! But no amount of breath holding could can take all the credit.
I do know for sure that having a no/low salt diet has definitely helped with not looking bloated. I also did a lot of aerobic exercising including plenty of crunches. I highly recommend Jillian Michaels!
Really, I just try to follow the calorie intake recommendations from SP. I dont worry about fat, or carbs, or any of that. Becoming aware of my portions and how many cals I was shoving in my face really woke me up. Then, as you lose, the success is a big motivator.
When I first started I didnt eat more than the minimum number of calories in my range. And I started slow with the fitness. 90 minutes a week was my goal. My goal now is 300 minutes a week. Holy crap! And I usually eat right at or a little over the high end of my calorie range now.
But I know people who just watch their portions, or use points, or whatever. You gotta find what works for you but remember that the big goal is to create that calorie deficit over time. You can do it!! And thanks for the friend add! 2115 days ago
