Tiffany Trying to Get Back on Track!

My name is Tiffany, obviously, and I recently married. I have definitely gotten off track with my eating/work-out habits since the wedding and I definitely want to get back to that wedding day weight. I have no motivation to work-out at all and I can't resist that Chipotle burrito or slice of pizza! I don't have much to lose, so I plan on just taking it slow and doing it the right way!

My goals:
*Get back down to my pre-wedding weight of 112.
*Tone up
*Learn a new activity
*Fit back into my skinny jeans
*resist Holiday temptations!

My Program:
I am starting slow, trying to work-out at least 3x a week. I am also going to cut back on my carbs since I am a carb-o-holic. Sadly, I am also going to cut out Chipotle. Boo.

I will, however allow myself one cheat day a week. Chances are it won't be Chipotle though, I can think of sooo many better ways to cheat!

Yea, weight-training is great. I could really tell a difference in how quickly my clothes fit differently when I started. I am so in love with my treadmill though. I'm a junkie...lol. Here lately though, with work, I just haven't made as much time as I used to (no excuse though). I just haven't done it. As far as calories go, I have found so many low calorie things to make-and-take for lunch. What are your likes & dislikes as far as foods go? During the week, I usually eat light foods (sandwiches, wraps, soups, frozens, veggies....) I don't really care for red meats that much or really meat in general so I have a hard time getting in protein. I have got a pretty good list of low-cal foods together though....I'll try to post it in a blog (nothing too great or fab, just a list that I put together while I was in nursing school so I could pack my lunches quickly). Hope to hear from you soon!

Yes- you will definitely have to go back to CSA, especially since your HM got cut short!! You will just have to go for a little longer next time! On the veggie burrito bowl- I get rice, black beans, guac, salsa, and lettuce. Its actually a lot of food! You can go to chipotlefan.com and build your own burrito and it will tell you how many cals. I can't believe the tortillas have 300 cals! Bummer!

Hey there!! YES- We are huge fans of Couples! Although- we have only been to Swept Away! How about you? Can't say enough about how much we love that place! We barely missed the hurricane- we were there at the end of July. Hopefully- it didn't ruin your vacation (?).
Jamaica is the best, Mon!

ps- I loooove Chipotle. I've got turned onto the burrito bowls. The veggie bowl has about 500 cals and I add a bunch of lettuce, so that it looks like an enormous amt of food. Yummm.

Hi! Good to hear from you...talk about weekends!....mine was bad too (food wise). My husband and I decided to have one of those "stay-at-home & cook all day" kind-of weekends. I ate so bad :( WHAT WAS I THINKING? Oh well...today's another day, right?
Well, USUALLY I do good...(really good)...I just watch my caloric intake and try to get in a little exercise. That is how I have maintained and lost over the past year or so. I am totally addicted to 100 calorie-&-under type foods...whether it is popcorn, granola, yogurt, veggies, whatever...I like to do those. I try to REALLY watch my calories during the weekdays, that way---I don't have to fuss with all of it with my husband on the weekend. I also try to eat breakfast each day. I began that back when I first started losing a lot of weight and-- It works! I eat one packet of sugar-free flavored oatmeal (made with water) and I don't get hungry till lunch (another one of those 100 calorie things, lol) Also, only diet sodas, water, or other zero-calorie beverages.....I realized that I SAVE SO MANY calories this way. Anyways, it has proven to work for me, but I'm all about sharing tips and advice....GOT ANY? Hope to hear from you soon....

Hi Tiffany! I just ran across your page! CUTE PICS! Congratulations too! Good Luck with your goals....I'm right there with you....I'm 5'1 so I totally get it. The smallest gain can make you feel like you look different. It is so different for us short girls! LOL :) I have been married for just over a year now. I was about 109-110 when I married and I have maintained it...I've even lost a few...I'm at 104.5 today. I'm working towards 100 and then maintenance(my husband and I are talking baby, maybe). Anyways, if you need some support, I'd like to hear from you sometime...it can be hard to find others here on SP who are close to the same HT/WT/age etc. GOOD LUCK!
