New Day

Every day is a new day, today I have decided to take my health seriously and do something about it. I have never suffered from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or really anything serious and I don't want to start. I have gained twenty some odd pounds in one year and I can't let myself get to that point. So that brings me back to WW and here.

I am getting married October 10, 2009 and I have my dress. It is ordered, in, and paid for. That is my motivation for now, I want to fit into that dress and , if I could, have it taken it when it comes closer to the wedding.

My girls at Brides 2 Be Challenges are a huge help with keeping the exercise on track and keeping that motivation up.

October 10 ! Yah! its in almost one year exactly (sorry I assumed it was 2008 wedding)So exciting, and the turn out for the wedding cruise is pretty good so far. I went to a wedding in the dominican and around 65 people came it was amazing to have so many friends and family around. Where is the cruise sailing??? How long is it? I know so many questions.. lol

Yeah I hear ya about the drinking... I'm a rum and coke zero type of girl but they can add up in a day/night. My friend just started WW and she's upset b/c her beer is like 2 points so she now has to limit her intake.

Hey Lady, How have you been ??? Longtime eh, I'm back again.. fell off the wagon for most of the summer but I had a great summer heheh!

I googled Pronovias London dress 2007, and tons of dress came up, is there a specific name for the dress in the collection, the dresses I looked at were stunning! Can't wait to see the actual one. So So happy for you, the dress is what makes it all real ( I think).
WW is going well, I'm happy for you :) Whatever works right. I've never tried weight watchers, I'll have to look into it.
Its my birthday weekend, went out friday night w/ a bunch of girls to club downtown, had so much fun! honestly Ihave to do it more often (getting cabin fever, staying home w/ the baby). And Ate way to many cupcakes.. but hey yoku gotta splurge sometimes (wish I just didn't feel so guilty!) Anyways thanks for checking in, Have a good rest of the weekend!

How you doing?? How's your week? Its almost spring I'm so happy !! Its still kinda cold here but at least the sun is coming out. My mood changes big time from winter to spring / summer. I'm feeling it already!

This week has been a struggle for me too, luckily I've been exercising but I've been eating like mad. Yesterday my hubby made some traditional kenyan bread ( I call them donuts, they are deep fried dough) they are really good on their own or w/ tea. I ate like a million.. I packed them away so I don't have them staring at me all day long!
Good luck w/ the gym, I put up a recipe in my recipe box (ice cream sandwich bars 84 cal for two and 2.2grams of fat) Better than eating deep fried bread!
