I gained a lot of weight and then I lost most of it. I maintained for several years. Then life got complicated and I gained most of it back. My biggest motivation to lose the weight is pain management. I broke over 25 bones in the accident, and although my body will still hurt every day, it hurts a lot less when I am not carrying the extra weight around. I know the road isn't easy, but I have traveled it before and know I can succeed. I have finally reached the point again where nothing but success is an option.

I had lost about 35 lbs two years ago, but have gained all of it back since the wedding. Now it is time to take care of my health again. In June, I will be helping chaperon a group of high schoolers on a trip to Europe. I know the tour company will have us walking a lot every day and I want to be able to keep up with the kids!

Thank you for the positive comment about the storm we had go by us. It is really out of season and we have not had any for several years so some people were really in a dither. I did not put up the shutters because by the time it was close it had been down graded to a tropical storm. One of my plants that I keep in a big pot blew over but that was the extent of it for me.
