Starting again

I never really struggled with my weight, I ran cross country and I was a gymnast. Then one day I rolled my car and spent the next 6 months in a wheel chair. Talk about killing my metabolism. I gained a lot of weight and then I lost most of it. I maintained for several years. Then life got complicated and I gained most of it back. My biggest motivation to lose the weight is pain management. I broke over 25 bones in the accident, and although my body will still hurt every day, it hurts a lot less when I am not carrying the extra weight around. I know the road isn't easy, but I have travelled it before and know I can succeed. I have finally reached the point again where nothing but success is an option.

Update: I had a bit of a backslide this fall/winter and gained a chunk of it back. I am now 8 lbs from where I was at the end of August. I am getting married May 31, so I am very motivated.
