After having knee surgery in 2009 & then finding out that my thyroid had bottomed-out (preventing quick weight loss from the LBS picked up during surgery recovery), I am finally able to get GOING on losing those pounds put on in 2009, thanks to my newly adjusted thyroid medication!
I want to lose weight not only to look better but also to FEEL better & more energized! I'm exercising 6 days a week, drinking LOADS of water, & eating healthy. Watching "The Biggest Loser" on TV motivates me even more, too.
I have a severe thyroid disease whereby my metabolism is going to be very slow at times, preventing me from losing weight as quickly as others, but I am fighting it BIG TIME and I'm determined to lick this thing!! :)
Aerobics = 6 days a week
Drinking 8 (min) glasses of water daily
I live in Birmingham AL (somehow I've been mistaken for Montgomery which is a little over an hour away) - I've always been an active person, so putting on weight was a surprise for me last year when I had to be sedentary for 7 months following a knee surgery gone bad!
I love LIFE! I love people, friends, computer games, facebook, reading, playing bridge, playing golf, walking, my many community involvements, church, traveling, our grown daughters & grandchildren, & anything to do with horses, and above all - ALABAMA FOOTBALL and the New Orleans SAINTS!! :)
