There Is No Way Back

I signed up after reading an article about this wonderful site. I have been trying to live a healthier life for a while now, but since being on Sparkpeople I actually believe that I can achieve those goals even though it will not always be an easy journey.
I found the song 'Survival' by Muse to be very inspiring and decided that it will be my motto because in the end I AM GONNA WIN :-)

Race, lifeís a race
And I am gonna win
Yes, I am gonna win

Race, lifeís a race
And I am gonna win
Yes, I am gonna win

And Iíll light the fuse
And Iíll never lose
And I choose to survive
Whatever it takes
You wonít pull ahead
Iíll keep up the pace
And Iíll reveal my strength
To the whole human race
Yes I am prepared
To stay alive
I wonít forgive, the vengeance is mine
And I wonít give in
Because I choose to thrive

Iím gonna win

Race, itís a race
But Iím gonna win
Yes Iím gonna win
And will light the fuse
Iíll never lose
And I choose to survive
Whatever it takes
You wonít ṗull ahead
Iíll keep up the pace
And Iíll reveal my strength
To the whole human race
Yes Iím gonna win

Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Win! Win! Win! Win!

Yes Iím gonna win

Hi there. I've been going to stop by, but I keep getting tied up with other things. I am sorry. Soo.. how's things going with you & Jillian? Are you keeping up? I had to cut back a bit. My knee has been giving me trouble & I don't want to really injure myself, so I cut back (for now) to a few days a week, or when my knee feels ok. Hope you're doing well. Have a great day!

Hi. Level 2 is going good. It's really challenging me. I like it. By the time I get to the last circuit & the last minute of abs, I feel like I am ready to drop!! I have done level 3 for 3 days now & yesterday I even done it twice. Have a great weekend.

Hi there,

I did start feeling slimmer & I think it's because of the ab muscles tightening up. Last week though I walked by the mirror & for the 1st time I was actually able to see a difference! Today I felt brave & decided to try level 2 again. It was tough, but this time felt different than the last time I tried it. So I may be moving on up to level 2 now. I felt like I got alot more out of it! I don't think that there's a rush to push ourselves to the next level as if we listen our bodies will tell us when it's time to advance. I was on level 1 for about 6 weeks & I will probably finish out this week switching back & forth between the 2 before just going to 2 on Sunday. Have a great day!! emoticon
