Good luck. Remember to use the site to it's fullest. Read blogs, articles, message board posts, you can find alot of hidden inspiration in these, and most of all visit other peoples pages take a look at their photos and such. Also on everyones SP page there is a button on the lower left side of the page to let SP know if that person motivates you, if they do hit the button. You can do it! I signed up for SparkPeople, but took a while to really get involved. Then it really started working for me.
I asked my really good friend who lost over 200 pounds how she did and she told me she just "showed up". Naturally, I needed her to explain. She said she treated weight loss as a job. No matter how she felt she showed up -- she showed up to do the meal planning, the grocery shopping, the cooking, the activity, the Spark community support, etc.
It isn't easy, but it is very possible. For me the key is never to give up. When (not if) you slip, you just keep going. Don't beat yourself up. Just learn what you can from the experience and go forward.

I won't say welcome to SP since you've been here a while but I will say welcome to becoming ready to really kick it into gear and do it! I'm sure it seems like such a big task but when you set goals the big ones and the smaller ones and then consistantly work toward them you will see progress and gain the confidence and motivation to keep setting more goals.
