I'm making quite a few changes in my life. Becoming healthy and fit is just one of them--but an important one. I've lost a third of the weight I want to lose, and I'm already gaining endurance and some strength. The changes I've made have affected my life and my dancing in a postive way, and I look forward to more of the same.

Fitness Minutes: 3,072

My Goals:
My goals are less about weight and more about health. I miss the shape I was in when I played tennis and volleyball and climbed trees on a regular basis. My dance has suffered because I don't have the endurance to make it through a 20 minute routine. Last, but certainly not least, I'm frustrated by the clothing options available to me at size 28! So my goals are these: get to the strength, shape and endurance levels that feel right for me. The dance and clothing benefits will come along when my health is in line. Celebrations are certainly in order.


My Program:
I'm eating well, and incorporating a lot of fresh produce and homemade items. Walking is my main form of transportation (and thus exercise). It's been great--I've lost 50 pounds just by walking, but I've hit a plateau and I need to step up the workout! Next week I add a strength training program to my fitness routine, and I've stepped up my dance classes and practices to meet (and exceed!) my new endurance levels.

250: 100 total pounds lost! 50 pounds left to go. I'm gonna have to think about this one :)
