I am currently the lowest weight I have ever been! I have set up mini weight loss goals but really I am enjoying becoming the person I never was. I enjoy knowing that I can keep up with my 3 kids, that I can love my husband more because I love myself, and that when I work out for 30 minutes a day- its not enough!

I am an avid runner running 3x a week, anywhere from 2.5 miles to 5 miles. I hope to be running 6 miles every weekend by the end of February. I run in Vibram Five Fingers and minimalist shoes. My speed is faster, my posture is better, and I feel so free running.

Heres where I started:
first joined sparks in Jan of 2008. I decided after my first baby that it was time to change, I could not play with my then 5 month old son like I should have been able to. I weighed in at 282 lbs and I will never forget how mortifying it was to be that big. I started my journey then. From Nov 2007 to Aug 2008 I lost 90lbs. I got pregnant again with my second adorable son and stayed focused on eating well and staying active for him, he was born in April of 2009. I gained the weight back because of PPD and struggled losing it and I started to watch my old habits creep back in. Once I could start to lose weight healthy again We found out that we are expecting baby number 3! He was born on July 10th and is an adorable kiddo. I love my kids more then anything and I am blessed to be a SAHM.

Hello! I have not been on sparkpeople for a while...I started and fell away due to depression and have gained weight since I joined. I want to get back on and start again. I am VERY proud of you, for what you have accomplished! Your family is soo proud too! I know it took a lot of hard work on your part, and continues to be hard work huh? I am an emotional eater, and I try to replace eating with other things, but always fall backward. I am getting up, and am going to try again! I know you will meet your goal! Keep up the good work!

There is a 5K at Fossil Ridge High School saturday - The Eric Seaman Race - $25 registration at 7:30 the race starts at 8:30 - want to come run with me?

Hi Danielle, I am in the GJ wave for the BOlder Boulder - what wave are you in? My husband said there are 6 people from his work in this wave so he will try to find out who they are but I would love to try to run with you! I think if I have someone to try to keep up with I will be able to push myself better/harder than on my own. The other 50K people just don't do it for me! Let me know.

Hi Danielle! Thanks but I think I am still a 5Ker for now. I am trying to increase my distance and am running 5 miles at a time but that kills me! So, I doubt I could do a 10K yet. This summer, my husband and I hope to do a 5K almost every weekend so that will help too. Maybe at the end of the summer?? Hope all is well with you, I think about you too.
