This Girl's Journey Forward

I have a new mindset. It's all about being present and recognizing that portion control is the key to my weight and to my peace of mind. Being in charge of what I put in my body is such a huge freedom (ironically) from my past habits of being controlled by food cravings and emotional eating.

I am in the process of letting go of all this baggage I've been carrying around... I feel the pounds dropping, and with them, the old feelings and thoughts. I am free...I will be free...

My Program:
I am eating healthy vegetarian foods, trying to avoid sugar, breads, and pastas, eat small portions frequently, and walk every day. So far, it's the right combination.

My goal: prepare my food, taste my food, feel my food...satisfy myself with fresh vegetarian foods...

And: work my body...feel the muscles, get strong and light...

Hi, Hannah... thank you for taking the time to give me the advice I needed! I will definitely check out the recipes etc. I don't know what you'd call me... I haven't really researched veganism etc. I do eat poultry and fish. I am trying to steer clear of red meats, however, I have not fully transitioned yet. emoticon

Make a list of why you started this journey and post in my the front door, on the mirror in the bathroom and on the ice box. You can do this.

Hey there. Yes I am still jogging. Didn't do as much as I should have in the past two weeks but still doing it. I have to say I enjoy getting out there and it makes my puppy so happy!

Sounds like you have been doing a good job moving it!! I went two miles on a walk/sprint with my nieces and dogs yesterday... ouch... a little sore today but had a great time.
