Welcome! I've been on a journey down the scale for a couple years now. I've lost about 95 lbs so far and I've got another 135 lbs to go to reach my goal weight. I hope I can help motivate and support you as you reach for your goals.


My Advantages to Losing Weight are:

• I’ll feel better; my feet and knees won’t hurt
• I’ll have a flat belly
• My yoga practice will be richer
• I’ll feel better about myself; be more confident
• It’ll be easier to lose more weight - my resistance muscle will be strong; temptations and cravings will diminish; I’ll exercise portion control
• I’ll believe and trust in the weight-loss skills I have
• I’ll prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to doing
• I’ll have a greater voice; people will want to listen to me
• I’ll get off cholesterol meds
• I’ll greatly reduce my risk of getting Type 2 diabetes, and some cancers
• My family and friends will be proud of me and brag about me
• I’ll be an inspiration to Bob, Rose and Mom to lose weight
• I’ll have more energy, strength and flexibility (and will probably live longer)
• I’ll do more things and go more places
• I’ll buy sexy matching lingerie
• I’ll look fantastic at Kelly's wedding
• Dave will brag to his students
• I’ll make my coach proud and prove her value

My Program:
- Mega veggies and fruit with good whole grains and lean proteins (Pritikin/Mayo Clinic/ Fat Smash)
- drink plenty of water
- exercise at least 5 days per week
- read and follow the Beck Diet Solution program

    Hey Trish! Just wanted to respond to your weigh in post. I have also been angry for a no reason gain, and my way of handling it was to quit everything...tracking, posting, trying, etc. I think I must have pouted for 2 weeks, I was being such a baby! Now I know to take the bull by the horns and kick its hiney a few times! My numbers didn't match up with my efforts this past week, either, so let's kick some hiney this week! emoticon
