Need help to complete task.....

I am a registered nurse that works night shift with a husband and almost 2 yr. old daughter. Sometimes the schedule gets hectic. Also no one else in the household needs to lose weight and that adds other pressures to me. Eating is a bad habit and definitely one hard to break.....

So as I am reading this original introduction... I find not much has changed, still work the night shift, daughter is almost 6 yrs old, and still have a crazy hectic schedule. I am trying to find that ...

So as I am reading this original introduction... I find not much has changed, still work the night shift, daughter is almost 6 yrs old, and still have a crazy hectic schedule. I am trying to find that happy path for me. Saying no is a hard thing for me to accomplish. I still find I am a little further ahead than that last time I got "serious" about this weight loss. So maybe this is the time for it to click and stay.

And again, I am like a broken record, still in the same boat, easily persuaded on food. Exercising more regularly over past couple of weeks, which feels great.

My Goals:
I would love to lose around 40-50lbs, that would put me at my "ideal" weight.

8/2014
I just want to be healthier and feel better about myself especially when out and about with my family. I want to be able to put on an outfit, the first time and like it, not change multiple times before reverting back to sweatshirt or overly large shirt.

My Program:
A couple of close friends have joined a work's biggest loser program, we are going strong.

We have also started to compete in 5K's. We surely are not runners (yet) but are working for it. Just completed our second one 10/10/09, each of us placing in top 3. Yeah for us.

8/2014
I'm putting my mind to it, I have started to get back into jogging. I am walking in the mornings after work with a co-worker, but on my days off or before work, I am getting my miles in. With or without a buddy, which is a huge step for me.

Thank you! He seemed well this morning. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

As far as timing goes....it just hit me yesterday that you really shouldn't start when you are craving foods. That's when people have a tendency to think "I gotta fix this", but for me it is setting myself up for failure. Where if I would wait a couple of days it would come much easier and help get my confidence up.

I definitely packed the healthy snacks, it's home that gets me. You will be glad to know I made it through. It is possible I'm a little dehydrated, but I think the cravings are coming from my cycle getting ready to begin. Boo. At least I know it's happening, I always do better if I know/understand what's going on.
