My Goals:
My goals:
Exercise more frequently (currently once a year--but I'm consistent)!!

Drink 8 cups H2O daily.

Read my Bible daily.

Laugh more/Fret less.

My Program:
My main focus is to improve my muscle tone and cardio. system. I'm a dismal exerciser--but I'm going to change that! I also want to keep my weight down as I carry a nasty cancer gene (and I'm well aware that people who carry excess weight have more cancers than those who do not).

Personal Information:
I live in the woods.

Other Information:
I am a mom and a 6th grade teacher. I love the Lord, reading, gardening, and being a mom to 5 incredible kids! My husband is amazing and I am totally flipped out over him (30 years now)!!
I'm currently trying to teach myself two things: classical guitar and consistency with my workouts!!

Hi, THINNAT1 ! You had asked about a 'Destination' 5k. My definition is "going somewhere out of town to run a race". My husband and I both run and enjoy the company of another couple who run so we've decided that it's a good excuse to travel somewhere. We've joked that we're headed to St. John in 2016 to run "8 Tuf Miles"....we'll see! Happy Running!

Oops! I missed your emoticon . It came and went. I can't believe it's been 3 years on SP (4 for me!).
Keep up the great work - you've become such an inspiration with your running. I can't run (a bad knee), but you've inspired me to keep up with my walking and water jogging. Thanks for that!

Things here are moving along. The summer is flying by. Our youngest starts school in the fall. It's just the three of us here now... there's a little transitional stuff going on, but nothing we can't handle. She went with her boyfriend's family to drop him and his sister off at school in Pennsylvania. So the homefront is quiet this week.

Sounds like you're doing well. Glad to hear it!

Just flying by to say hi and hope you're doing well. Things are moving along here. My youngest has her last week of school this week... finals through Thursday and then they're off to Tennessee for their senior trip. Her graduation open house is in the middle of June - less than a month away - and I have so much to do!

We've been working on the yard, but even with all of that 'moving', I've still found myself 9 lbs. up. Yikes. I definitely have to get a handle on that before summer fully sets in.

Hope things are great in your neck of the woods.

Hi there. Just stopping in to say hi to one of my favorite Spark Friends! Our youngest turned 17 yesterday. Very bittersweet... she's graduating this year (what were we thinking letting them move her into kindergarten a year early?!) and we're doing the 'college thing' with her. Brings up memories of doing the same stuff last year with our son. (sigh)

Things here are okay. Hope they're well with you.
