I don't really want to talk about it . . . just do it

I'm changing some things in my life, the things I CAN change & I'm starting here. My 1st MAIN GOAL is to have a steady blood sugar level. That's what is helping me to start to lose the weight already since I am eating at (generally) the same time everyday & recording everything. Changed back to Kaiser Permanente after being with other insurance for five years. My Kaiser doctor has it going on so he'll help me get all my numbers in line but I have to do most of the work. No disillusion there!

I'm a little late - my apologies. I'm a bit behind on my emails.

I noticed you've joined our Loving Our Kidneys team and I want you to feel welcome to stop by and tell us how you and your disease are doing. We keep threads open about our lab results, food to eat and not eat, what our docs are telling us - all kinds of stuff. It seems each person gets different advice from the medical community and it helps to have someone's help to sort that all out.

Hope to 'hear' from you on the forums soon!
