ThickTeacher on a swimsuit mission!

I am a 28 year old high school teacher. I sponsor a club for my students to lose weight. We do weekly workouts and weigh ins. How am I supposed to set an example when the scale is not moving for me!!!?? I need some extra help and motivation. I hope by posting my progress for the world to see, I will be held accountable.

This site is just amazing-- full of all kinds of information and tools to help us on our journeys to a health lifestyle. Best of all is the caring Community of fellow "Sparkers" ready to offer support and encouragement along the way.

If you haven't done so, I'd encourage you to check out the Spark Teams; you can find them under the "Community" tab at the top of the page. There are Teams for all sort of things-- age ranges, number of pounds to lose, hobbies and interests, geographic locations, various health issues and concerns. I've found that the more involved I am, the more motivated I've stayed. Challenges are also a good way to stay motivated (they're also under the "Community" tab, plus some Teams have their own challenges).
