The Largest Possible Life

I am pleased to be here, getting support for exciting new developments in my life. In 2006 I walked my first half-marathon and lost 30 pounds altogether.

My journey toward health began many years ago, after I ballooned up to 360 pounds as a teenager. I "hit rock bottom" and decided I had many bad habits I would change. My journey toward health began many years ago, after I ballooned up to 360 pounds as a teenager. I "hit rock bottom" and decided I had many bad habits I would change. For ten years, I ignored weight and I worked on self-love and identity issues, as well as getting therapy for family dysfunctions. Without focusing on body fat, I lost 100 pounds over ten years.

In February of 2006, I decided I was ready to move a little faster on weight loss! I am now very close to my long-term goal... a weight that begins with a 1, and a BMI of 28.6. This will mean moving out of the obese category for the first time since I was twelve years old!

I love the changes going on in my body. I love having more energy, and moving more easily in the world. I love finding clothes more easily! I love finding new challenges my body can meet. I'm making plans for a full marathon soon. Wish me luck!

I'd be delighted to try your Yoga DVD! Thank you for the offer. I need to take the two I've had back to the library.
