Just for today

Just for today, I''m going to make healthy choices in my life. I''ll worry about tomorrow when it becomes today. I can do ANYTHING "just for today." I believe that my history is NOT my destiny. At any given moment I have the power to say this it not how the story is going to end. I reached my Spark goal in 2011, losing 75 lb. via good nutrition, cardio & strength. My goal for 2015 is to be joyful and live life to the fullest!

My Goals:
SHORT TERM GOALS:
Become a grandmother - January 2014.

MID-RANGE GOALS:
Do a weekend backpacking trip in May and June with DH.

LONG-RANGE GOALS:
Visit Spark friends TERESA159, JECKIE, and CRAZYDOGLADYBO in 2014.

My Program:
1) Use nutrition tracker daily, adding fiber tracking, and stay within recommended goals for maintenance.

2) Minimum of 30 cardio minutes, six days/wk

3) Strength training for a minimum 30 min. 2x/wk

4) Use my Spark friend network to support my goals.

5) Maintain my weight at plus/minus 5 pounds of goal.

I'm a married New Englander living in Maryland who telecommutes full-time.

Thanks for visiting my birthday kittens photo blog, although at 2 they are cats. I log onto SP each day but am less visible as we maintain we have the tools we know what to do. I would love to be 7lbs less but am content. I can loose 3lb in a month and gain 2 in a week! not obsessing just keeping fit and healthy
Hope all is well with you and dear Jackson (would love to see an update photo)

Hello dear! I have missed you. It's lovely to see that you are a Sparkpeople Motivator. You were always a motivation to me so I am not surprised at all. I'm happy for you that you are maintainance and holding. I'm still working on losing the last 30 lbs. Not bad from starting with over 50 in October 2014. I had been gone for a long time because of school. I'm in grad school now, but feel the need to be here as much as possile. I really have missed you.
