The Slimmer Me

At only 5'2 I have always had a battle with the extra #'s. I have had balance, coordination and flexibility problems, so exercise has not been a high priority in my life.

I recently retired from a 'career' position; that consumed much of my day-to-day life. I now have time to put my efforts into addressing these two items so this retirement chapter of my life wll be healthy and meanful.

My total pounds to goal will be 100# plus from my highest weight which was in 2011, ...

My total pounds to goal will be 100# plus from my highest weight which was in 2011, Although I had discovered "SPARKPEOPLE". my time commitment to myself till June 1st, 2012 was minimal, and I have only lost 18#, Since June I have been recording my food consumption, attending Aqua Fitness classes 2 x per week and renewed my membership in Curves.

Sept 2-12 - down 35#'s (17#'s with Sparks!)
Jan. 2-13 - down 53#'s (35#'s with Sparks!) ya! on target.
- flexibility, coordination and balance significantly improved!

Focus my time and energy on improving my metabolism, to eat healthy, Increase physical activity
Be under 200# by October 2012 (ALMOST THERE -09-02-12)

My Program:
Eat regularly,
- 3 Meals, 2 Snacks each day
- keep within SPARKS calorie range
- Exercise 2 x /week Aqua Fit 3 x / week Curves
- Keep motivated!
- Log food, water and exercise daily
- Read "SPARK articles
- Consider Tabata Training
ADDED:
- 15 minute exercise challenge
- climbing 4 flights of stairs instead of elevator - yes!
- walk all aisles in store before checking out - yes!
- SPARK chair exercises -0-
- Incumbent bike 20 minutes - once per week - yes!
- Practice floating and kicking' when in pool - once per week - yes!

- 5 Minute Challenge
- tidy a room/cupboard
- start laundry
