My Goals:
I've always been interested in burlesque and think it'd be a nice thing to get into - even just for fun. Though, it won't be much fun if I don't appreciate my body. To be sexy you have to feel sexy and burlesque is all about that kind of appeal.

My Program:
Eating habits:
I never say that I'm on a diet. I'd rather think of it as "healthy eating." I do pay attention to calories and nutrition - but that's not really dieting. That's making good choices. My strategy, though, is fluctuating my calorie intake. I'll bump it up 100-200 calories every 2-3 days. When I get to a certain intake, I drop it back down and start all over again. I try to eat servings of fruits/veggies, meat, and grain every day. I also make it a point to drink my daily eight glasses of water.

Exercise:
On average I'll try to do ten minutes of pilates, twenty minutes of cardio, ten minutes of strength training, and ten minutes of yoga. That's my usual schedule but starting October I'll be doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred - one level for each month. This is working me up for the New Year of which my resolution is to stick to the P90X program. These next three months are sort of a preliminary training program for P90X (:

Personal Information:
I'm a 17 year old writer. I joke around and say that I'm the Bill Gates of writing in the sense that I dropped school in favor to pursue what I thought was worthwhile. While I'm not where I want to be just yet I know that I'm getting closer to my goals each and every day.

A common stereotype is that writers don't do much other than sit down all day and tap away at their computer. I wish I could say that this isn't true but... Well, it is. You don't hear about other writers working out five hours a week. I'm the only writer I know who does this. Also, as far as I know, I'm the only writer who follows a meal plan. I like to think I'm breaking the mold as far as writers being lazy and unhealthy (look at a lot of them - saddlebags, love handles, and "a little extra baggage" everywhere). Screw that, man.

I have a fitness and progress blog on Tumblr! Check it out: http://ginger-fit.tumblr.com/
