I know what the magic pill is now.

Having been through many diet plans and read many books, I know what I have to do, I just have to do it. And so I am doing it. Following WW consistently and persistently, adding Zumba 4 times a week and Platoon Fitness personal training for two half hours a week. Yup, it's coming off. Now I teach Zumba 5 times a week and still do Platoon twice a week and Weight Watchers every day.

My Goals:
My goal is to continue to lose month after month. It's going very slowly but I'm happy it's moving in the downward direction.

My Program:
I'm doing WW. I get 29 daily points and try to stay way under the 49 alloted for the week. Right now it seems that using 7-19 extras a week is working to lose 1/2 a pound a week.

Personal Information:
I found ZUMBA in September of '09 and am now certified to teac Zumba and Zumba Toning. I also get personal training for 1/2 an hour twice a week to make me stronger. I go with a friend and it costs half as much. I love it now.

Other Information:
When I finish a meal, and I feel like eating more (not that I'm hungry), I tell myself that there is always another meal. Also, it's ok to be hungry during the day. I keep a healthy snack bar in my bag as emergency food.

Thank you for your inspiring words. I am needing them today. I will do Zumba later after taking two days off. I don't want to teach Zumba but that is one way of staying fit. I want to Zumba and also try to dance Salsa again in public. Aloha

Hi, I wrote to your Zumba thread, but added it here in case you didn't go back and read this. --

There are no Zumba classes around me, so I'd like to get a beginner dvd to try it out. Any suggestions? Should I just go to the website? It looks expensive. E-bay offers the expensive sets, too.

Is there a good beginner dvd that I can do with a 9 yr. old and 3 yr. old? It would be fun for all of us.
