Every now and then I try to update my page. So here it goes! LOL!

I've been an SP member for 9 years! Holy cow!!! I've had my ups and downs for sure. My journey goes a little something like this:

I joined in 2008. Towards November/December, I had a life changing event and was able to drop a lot of weight and was the lowest I had been in a long time.
Fast forward to a few years later, I ended up getting pregnant in April 2010 (found out a mere week before my birthday!). Unfortunately I didn't have the mental strength to realize that I still needed to eat healthy and exercise consistently to avoid putting on too much while pregnant. I used my pregnancy as a reason to 'pig out'.
My daughter was born in January 2011. She is the absolute light of my life. When she came into this world, I knew exactly what my purpose in life was, to be a mom! I absolutely adore her, she is definitely my world.
With that said, it still took a lot of time for me to get it together.
My journey back to a healthy weight and lifestyle started sooner than when I actually started losing weight. I was diligent with my trips to the gym, but not so much with the food I was putting in my body. In October 2015 I started a program called 'Real Appeal'. It helped me lose about 20 lbs. I started around 179 and ended at 159-ish. That was a 1 year program. Things kind of slowed down for me then.
In February 2017, I decided to check out a fitness class while my daughter was doing dance. Best decision EVER!
The weight is still coming off slowly, but I've made a great friend with the trainer and she still kicks my butt on a weekly basis.

I try to work out 5 days a week but sometimes life gets in the way, especially on Saturdays. I'm doing better now. I'm feeling good. I'm so close to my goal of 135, I can taste it! I'm making better food decisions and drinking tons of water.

I'm so excited for my future and proud to be a role model for my daughter and show her that it pays to be healthy!

    emoticon emoticon Theresa !! How was the break? I DO NOT DARE to leave the team/sparks for a break (both MaryAnn and I DID take a 2 week break of being leaders to the Dawggies as far as your normal stuff goes as leaders, but !! NOT from the stuff a regular member does. The QUICKNESS Of the Summer brought QUICKLY to setting up the Summer Dawggie team page as well as you all came on,,,, familiarizing ourselves to you all. We both get SOO EXCITED (as do ALL leaders. MaryAnn and I talk nightly as we've developed such a wondogful friendship,,,but SHHHHHH !!! LOL it'll go her little ears if she knew (well yeah she KNOWS, but shhhhh she doesn't know I'm telling you,, not that it's a secret its not).

    I LOVE how you want to track and like myself STAY IN RANGE (BIG LETTERS FOR ME ! I NEED to remind myself. Though Ive been very good about it,, during the break,,,,, hanging my tail down,,, I've been trading sundaes for food for lunch or dinner. That NEEDS TO STOP ! I lose well when I eat REAL FOOD !)

    LOVE That you and your D are doing an inflatable race !!! OH PLEASE let us know more as the date approaches !!

    Let's give this OUR BEST SHOT together !! WE CAN DO IT Theresa. It works IF we do it,,,and your plan is VERY REASONABLE and DOABLE hon !! YES we ALL get discouraged,,,it can be SO EASY To throw in the towel (sunblock,,, lawn chairs,,,basketballs etc) but !! PLEASE Join us on the discussion thread daily (or at least every 5 days) and I PROMISE You ,,, there IS HELP !! BY reading over the posts,,,,, we find we are NOT the only ones feeling the type of things. I am going into this with my foot (BAD FOOT !! BAD FOOT !!) In an air cast (has been 2 1/2 weeks,, time to call the foot Dr again. He's AWESOME ! He KNOWS I'll call if needed and does NOT set up those NAGGING new appointments unless I need to (I see him every 2 months no matter what any hows) and ALSO a kidney stone that HURTS SO MUCH (ugh long story is on a recent blog,,, my friend has been on my GRRR LIST !)though it's NOT her fault I have it (STUPID BODY !) the intensity of the pain,, could WELL BE !! As the time goes on,,it's settled down,, now that my body is not under extreme stress of HER place ! But it's been since last Sunday night,,,,and Grrr it LOVES ME (Grrr why can't a guy I like do this at this time? Nah,,, LOL LOL LOL I HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS without getting a WHINER,, I'd be in JAIL within an hr of "I DO" he WON"T !).

    GOOOO DAWGGIES !! Like my pic? I Saw that and we KNOW I LOVE Cats !! So it's fitting !! Izzy is STILL SICK ! YIKES !
