2015 - And I've Got Resolutions!!

It's a new year and I really want to change my life and make the best of it. I have a few new years' resolutions, I'm sure everyone does, and I really want to work to complete them.

For 2015 I want to do the following:

1) Save money
2) Get healthy (& fit)
3) Run/walk 3 or more 5Ks
4) Wear high heels more often (I used to love wearing heels and never had a problem at my old job but now that I'm at a place that is more relaxed with the dress code, I ...
It's a new year and I really want to change my life and make the best of it. I have a few new years' resolutions, I'm sure everyone does, and I really want to work to complete them.

For 2015 I want to do the following:

1) Save money
2) Get healthy (& fit)
3) Run/walk 3 or more 5Ks
4) Wear high heels more often (I used to love wearing heels and never had a problem at my old job but now that I'm at a place that is more relaxed with the dress code, I really just go for flats or boots)
5) Do my hair more often (I find that as a mom and working full time, I don't have a lot of time. I'm definitely NOT a morning person, therefore I have no interest whatsoever in getting up earlier to do my hair, so on the weekdays, I really need to figure out something, like shower/wash my hair the night before, so I can get up at my regular time and do something with it, otherwise it's going up in a ponytail or messy bun)
6) Wear makeup a little more often (I want to say last year, I probably put on make less than half a dozen times, but then again, I didn't really have a reason to wear it, so I'm going to change that this year and really go out more often)
7) Let my boyfriend know how much I love him and how grateful I am for him (We tend not to do these things too much and I really would love to just leave little notes in his gym bag or his car letting him know how much he really means to me!)
8) Spend more time with friends! (One of my closest friends works with me, so I see her all the time, but what we don't do is go out often enough. I've already let her know that we need a girls weekend in 2015. Let the planning begin!!
9) Remember how I feel after I leave the gym (when I'm thinking of skipping it)! I think I definitely need to keep this in mind because I feel more confident when I leave the gym after working out. I may not have a physical change immediately, but mentally, I just feel sexier and more beautiful
10) Get engaged (or even married!) This year will be 10 years with my boyfriend (although he won't agree on a specific date when we started dating, LOL!), and after our daughter, who just turned 4; buying our own home and taking vacations, I'm ready to be a MRS!! To be honest, the ring doesn't matter as much to me as becoming a wife and being able to call him my husband.

These resolutions are what I am striving for in 2015. So, if I fall off the wagon and don't come back for a few months, I'm hoping it doesn't happen that way, at least I can come back and see what I have accomplished and what's left to accomplish. I know life can sometimes get in the way. My work can be extremely demanding in the summertime, so there may be times where I can't necessarily log in to SP BUT with that said, I want to continue to work out. My job has a gym but during those busy weekdays, when I can't leave my desk to pee, let alone go workout, I have a Planet Fitness, 5 minutes from my house that I signed up at, for this purpose! I'm not going to let life get in the way of getting healthy any longer! I'm willing to accept that sometimes my nutrition may get a little sloppy (I'm not perfect), but I'm determined to make exercising a life change all year round, not just during the easy months at work.
