My Goals:
Lose weight ~ get down to 175 lbs by my 44th birthday.

Be more active with my kids.

Be more *active* with my hubby. ;-)

Eat healthier.

Learn to count carbs so that my daughter can be considered as a candidate for an insulin pump.

Establish normal daylight hour life sleeping habits... instead of living like a vampire. It's not natural for me to sleep at night, so it's definitely a challenge.

My Program:
I've started walking regularly with a girlfriend. We've been doing 3-5 days/week, and averaging 4 miles, sometimes as much as 7.

So far, I've done no diet planning, which is a problem apparently.

Are you having a FANTASTIC FRIDAY?? I just wanted to pop over to your page and let you know I am going away this weekend and may not be keeping as close of tabs on your progress as you may like. Or maybe itís a blessing and you are exhaling a sigh of relief. I did however post a new blog, so come over and visit if you miss me and have time to sit a spell.

Have a great weekend!

Hey Sweets... as in eating them. :) Only two cookies? What happen, did ya burn 'em? I know you aren't THAT IN CONTROL! Maybe I was wrong about you. Maybe you can keep on track through the holidays. I'll be checkin' in just to be sure. (and keep loggin' on the food tracker or I'll call in the Spark Patrol and have you handcuffed; no hands, no food!)

Just poppiní in to share this COOKIE ALERT!

I overheard the Christmas goodies and cookies talking last night. I think they are planning to gang up on you over the next few weeks. They said something about making themselves taste so good they will be irresistible. The plan is for you to eat just one or two and then BASH, BANG, ZOWIE, this is when they make their move and start to jump into your mouth one by one before you even know what hit you!

I just wanted to forewarn you, so you can be prepared. I found out yesterday I will be cooking another dinner for Christmas Day. And cookies? Iíve already had special requests for sugar cookies, Hershey Kiss cookies (peanut butter blossoms) and potato candy. Iím getting scaredÖ I LOVE THEM ALL!

Good Monday Morning! I hope you had a great weekend! I stopped over and looked at the puppy... so adorable... as are your girls! :) OK, you're adorable too. What's with the excuses? Sprained knee? A sprained knee may discourage your walking, but what about your eating? I've never heard where a sprained knee increases your appetite! Come on, we're sliding down to the 100's and you don't want to get left behind!

What day do you weigh?

Hi Lynn, it's Carmen. I just want to remind you that every meaningful journey will sometimes start with baby steps. But, they are steps none the less. My daughter has registeredwith SP, and is taking it slow. She makes sure to make good choices for breakfast and is paying more attention to portion. Ayear from now you will look back and realize how much you've accomplished. Did I spell that right? Keep up the good work. Anything worth have is worth working for.
