Found out I was pre diabetic and carbs had to go!

Over the past 3 years I started swelling in my stomach area. I thought it was food sensitivities , but come to find out it had to do with carbs. Had some blood work done and found out I was very very close to being a full blown diabetic. I was eating potatoes and crackers thinking it was helping calm by stomach, but that was the worse thing I could do. I also would experience pain in my fingers and toes after eating a meal with carbs. I did some research and found out I was insulin ...

Stopped ALL carbs for two weeks to balance by system back and now Im able to eat vegetable and some fruits, but not a lot of fruit. I started losing weight and feeling much much better. The swelling in my stomach area went down. Yes there's still fat there, but I don't look like I'm carrying a baby now lol... I hope if someone is experiencing insulin resistance that they take it seriously and stop the carbs. I learned that some of us disgest some foods better than others. I digest protein better, not carbs.

My Goals:
Ok..... here goes. By the end of this end 2009, I want to lose 50 pounds. I want to make the change I stated above and that is turn around from eating fattening foods, exercise more and lose this 50 pounds.

My Program:
What I've done is make a sheet of things I can make to eat with the calories next to it. I want to eat ONLY 1,200 Calories a day. this will be my goal......

Personal Information:
I live on the Gulf of mexico in Gulfport, MS. I have no reason to not have physical activities.. There's SO MUCH to do here in the water. As a matter of fact...I think I want to go swimming.

I like the game flip words. try it... just put flip words in the search, find it, try it. It totally works for me

this is my favorite game and really helps me NOT THINK OF FOOD .. TRY IT!!
