49 and want to be healthier for me and my kids
Hello, my name is Annie. I am a single mom of three kids, ages 14, 23 and 26. We are all interested in eatting right and excercising. In my family, if mom eats right and excercises, my kids groan at first and then all follow suit. We are a close family.
I have hypertention which is controlled by medication and would like to be able to be healthy enough to reduce my need for meds.
I have type 2 diabetes. 120-130 fasting bs... it doesnt go over 212 during the day. I also ...

I am a medical assistant and receptionist at a busy pediatric office. I also go to school for my cma and phlebotomy. Graduate: 12/4/2008

My Goals:
My goal is to lose weight and become a healthier person for me and for my children. Im a single mom so its important to them to have a healthy mom.
My Program:
Right now I am on a low calorie, low fat diet. I take metformin (1000 mg BID) and Diovan (160 QD) Eventually I would like to be thinner, healthier and med free with a normal BS and normal BP :)
Personal Information:
I live in Jackson NJ with two of my three kids.
